IRGENDJEMAND

Commissioned work for RHYTHM MACHINE, Summerhall 30/04/16

Irgendjemand was inspired by Otto Wagner's notion of the gesamtkunstwerk or 'total work of art,' which he believed could only be achieved by a multi-sensual experience. The installation was intended as participatory, in which visitors could get their Tarot cards read and enjoy sweets given out by performers dressed in plastic garments. The event included performances from members of the record label Lost Oscillation, a film piece, balloon sculptures and a soundscape of experimental computer music produced by women between 1950 and 1970.
